Hiring: Audit Seniors and Audit Supervisors

Riney Hancock CPAs PSC is looking for an experienced audit senior and an audit supervisor to join our audit and assurance services division teams in Owensboro, Kentucky and Evansville, Indiana. Riney Hancock CPAs PSC is a full-service, regional firm with offices in Owensboro, Kentucky and Evansville, Indiana. The Riney Hancock (RH) Team consists of CPAs and business advisors offering a full range of professional tax, audit, accounting, and management advisory services to both businesses and individuals.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to :
- Perform audit, review, compilation, and other assurance engagements from start to finish including: planning, fieldwork, research, supervision and review, drafting of financial statements and related reports, presentation to management, engagement wrap-up, maintaining client relationship issues, and staying up to date with client business issues
- Adhere to budgetary and time constraints
- Identify client service opportunities and make recommendations to help them improve controls, processes, and profitability
- Ensure that financial statements, tax returns, and management letters are prepared and/or delivered properly
- Provide training and mentoring to staff
- Communicate with Shareholders, analyze problems, and recommend solutions
- Assume leadership opportunities within the department
- Act as a firm representative when attending professional and organizational events
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration.
- Certified Public Accountant
- Experience performing auditing services in a CPA firm.
- Applied working knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and U.S. auditing standards, and accounting procedures.
- Able to meet challenging client requirements and possess strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and research abilities.
- Self motivated, driven individual that can work independently.
