J. Adam Hancock

J. Adam Hancock, CPA, CVA, CFE, joined Riney Hancock CPAs PSC in 2005 and became a shareholder in 2013. Adam is Managing Shareholder/ President of the firm and also serves as the Director of the Consulting Services Division. Adam has extensive experience in business valuation, fraud investigation, litigation support, audit, and operation improvement. Along with providing various services to community banks, governmental entities, federal programs, non-profit organizations, utilities, small businesses, and individuals, he is active in many professional and civic organizations.

Adam continues to gain further expertise in these areas and has attained his Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) credentials from the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts. He has also attained his Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) credentials from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).

Adam is a cum laude graduate of Kentucky Wesleyan College (KWC) with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). While attending KWC, he received various awards and recognitions: The Jerry Trinkle Accounting Award, Panther-Pride Student-Athlete Award, and was named All Great Lakes Valley Conference his senior year for baseball.
