Your Most Trusted and Valued Financial Advisors

In 1973, our founding shareholders decided to leave national accounting firms and start a new firm focused on:

  • Building client relationships based on mutual trust and providing timely quality services focused on solutions;
  • Building client service teams who care deeply about one another, their clients and their community, and;
  • Building a successful culture based on giving back to community, its professional organizations and charitable organizations.

In 1989, interested in becoming more of a regional firm, we merged with Roy Cobb, CPA in Evansville. With offices in Owensboro and Evansville our firm is able to meet the financial and business needs of our clients in western Kentucky and southern Indiana.

With seven shareholders and a professional and support staff of 30 team members, Riney Hancock CPAs has maintained an atmosphere of excellence in everything we do. This coupled with a philosophy of always doing what is in the best interest of our clients while maintaining our independence and integrity. Our mission statement is simply…. “To be our clients most valued and trusted financial advisors.”

Looking back over the last 44 years is somewhat like the song “Don’t Blink” by Kenny Chesney. In many ways, it’s like a “blink” however, successfully building a strong supportive client base, a family of outstanding professionals and a culture of giving back to your communities, has taken a sustained amount of time and outstanding efforts by a lot of great people.

We would like to sincerely thank all of our clients, family and friends for your trust, your support and especially your friendship for without you, we would not be celebrating our 44th anniversary.
