Penny N. Hahn, CPA, CGMA, MBA joined Riney Hancock CPAs PSC in 2026 and serves as a Manager in the firm’s Tax Services Division. Prior to joining the firm, Penny was an Audit Manager with a regional accounting firm and held various controller and financial leadership roles across local government, healthcare, and higher education organizations.
Penny brings extensive experience in providing audit, review, compilation, and agreed-upon procedures engagements for both for-profit and nonprofit entities. She also delivers comprehensive tax services to individuals, businesses, trusts, and nonprofit organizations. Her industry experience spans utilities, education, professional services, retail, manufacturing, healthcare, construction, and not-for-profit sectors.
Penny graduated cum laude from the University of Southern Indiana, earning dual bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Elementary Education, along with a post-baccalaureate certificate in Professional Accountancy. She earned her Master of Business Administration from Morehead State University.
She is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in both Kentucky and Indiana. Penny also holds the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation, awarded jointly by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) through the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants.
