Zachary C. Scott, CPA, CIA has been promoted to Senior Manager in the Audit and Assurance Services Division. He joined Riney Hancock CPAs PSC in 2016. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Staff Auditor at an Indianapolis CPA firm, a Senior Auditor at a regional CPA firm, and the Audit Manager for a greater than one billion dollar financial institution. He is also a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
Zach’s area of emphasis has been serving the financial institutions industry and HUD-assisted entities, but he also has experience in providing services for manufacturers, non-profit organizations, and employee benefit plans.
He is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Southern Indiana (USI) with a double major in Accounting and Finance. While attending USI, he received the Institute of Management Accountants Award, the USI Alumni Association Award, the Eli Lilly Award, and the Departmental Award. Zach attended the CUNA Management School at the University of Wisconsin, where he received the highest score on the Stanford Simulator in the 2016 class. He is currently attending the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University and will graduate in 2020.
